Aimee was admitted as a lawyer in 2007, and has practised almost exclusively in family law since then.
She has a wealth of experience across all areas of family law including property matters, parenting matters, de facto relationships, and domestic violence. She is adept at dealing with complicating features in matters such as companies/trusts, foreign assets and jurisdictional issues. Her particular areas of interest include advising on complex children’s issues including relocation, drug and alcohol abuse, mental health issues and special needs children.
She also has previous experience in criminal law, corporate insolvency and bankruptcy, and estate litigation in England and Wales.
Aimee works closely with her clients to reduce unnecessary stress associated with the family law process. She believes in the importance of minimising the emotional and financial cost of separation for clients. She focuses on providing realistic, practical and empathetic advice in order to achieve the best outcome for her clients.
