Practicing family law for 26 years Deano is the managing Director of Simonidis Steel lawyers. From the commencement of operations in 2001, Deano has since expanded the firm to cater for a growing clientele.

Senior Associate Aimee was admitted as a lawyer in 2007, and has practised almost exclusively in family law since then. Aimee has a wealth of experience across all areas of family law including property matters, parenting matters, de facto relationships, and domestic violence.

Senior Associate Ryan completed his Bachelor of Laws, graduating with First Class Honours, at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2014. While Ryan practices in all aspects of family law, he has a particular interest in spousal maintenance, child support and binding financial agreements.

Associate Michael completed his Bachelor of Laws at James Cook University (JCU) in 2018. He then went on to complete his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law. While Michael practices in all aspects of family law, he has a particular interest in complex parenting matters.
